A New Beginning (working title)

Humanity has just come out of a decade-long galactic war and is now ready to strike out to explore the galaxy. During the war, they were subject to the rules and restrictions of their allies. That didn't sit well with them. Now they have a new ship, an experienced captain, and a secret.
